So lost inside
Where to turn
The darkness clouds my mind
No longer
Can I see past the pain
Hurt by the one I love
The person who I believed in
Said he'd always be there
Cold air on my skin
As my heart bleeds
A life destroyed by betrayal
Help me find my way

His life, is marked by hopeless despair,
Feeling empty; no one seems to care,
Caught in addiction’s strong snare,
Bright lights humming in the night,
Waiting for news that will give me a fright.
Doctors come and doctors go,
No one stops

Evanescing a denoting tone trotting silent
Searching for a sign grind for my thoughts

Pushing through the crowd, not seeing any of the faces
