You want that (insert insulting sentiments here) back? The very same individual that walked away from you leaving you in a heap of tears and uncertainties? You want to take another stab at "making things work?" Well, unbelievable enough as your mission is, it's really not difficult to accomplish. Here's what you do...

NOTHING! Don't do a single thing in attempt to real your ex back in. How? How can you possibly move on, with such an important piece of your life missing? SIMPLE! Get a new and improved agenda! Mix and mingle, live dangerously, drink one sip too many, laugh one octave too loud, do everything with all your heart. You will not only be mending the holes left when you were walked out on, but you will also be strengthening yourself for whatever may come in the future.

So while you are out getting your hair done or your shoes shined, your (in)signifigant other will be catching wind of your new persona. That great night you had out last weekend with your best friends, where you smiled nonstop and danced alone like no one was watching, will make it's way to your lost love. And let me tell you, despite how tough he or she may be acting after the split, we have all been on both sides of the fence, and we know it hurts no matter what. You're going to leave your leftovers sitting at home drilling over why you are so happy when they are still working to get through the day to day.

Certainly you should expect curiosity to kill the cat that's got your exs tongue. Your phone will ring. You'll hear a tap, tap, tap on your door. And why not? You are a fun, happy person with the means of getting along well enough on your own. Anyone in their right mind would regret letting go of someone with that kind of backbone.

Here's the fun part, when graveling and sob stories kick in. And maybe, JUST MAYBE, you'll really have moved on from the sap by now. You have worked yourself into having the upper hand by doing no work at all. It's really all a matter of word of mouth. Everyday, life works around what he said to her and what she said in response. So now, you will know your ex has listened to all the great stories others have had to say, that included you. And you will have to opportunity to listen to their "forgive me" speech.

So, through making no efforts in pulling together the pieces of a broken relationship you have brought your ex right to your front door with a trail of broken pieces and a tube of gorilla glue. What you chose to do from here, depends entirely on if what you here is genuine or not. You have prooved capable of loving yourself most of all, and truly, the best relationship you should have is with yourself.
