Poetry: Divided
Has your mind ever took a day, and ran away?
Along with hopes and dreams?
Between tears, and smiles, both will stay awhile.
With doubts of how it seem.
Have you ever made a decision to leave love behind?
Did panic grab the body along with the mind?
I know of all these jolts. They come along in two's.
They come along when you don't care, and come along when you do!
Then you'll come alone in a long way, all in a short time.
Keeping the secret within, standing at life's border line.

In The Shadow of the Candlelight
Going nowhere…my whole world is standing still
No words to speak, no volume, could
Life's Jury
Another day's just passed, yet you are no where in sight
But I'm still waiting even if chances don't look bright
I'm divided by my life, not nearly complete.
Completion never seems to cut it all neat.
Division multiplies my hurting pain,
Adjoined by hearts; divided by pride
Proud display; painful beneath
A tender touch; a distant stare
Together in flesh; apart
