I don't believe that it is fair for anyone to say that I can't spank my child.Or that anyone else can't either.Hasn't anyone looked around lately at the children of today.They are rude and inconsiderate and they don't respect anyone let alone their parents.I am a firm believer in spanking,and nothing anyone has or will say can change my mind.I tried the whole time out thing when my oldest child was small and it had little to no affect on her at all.There is an age limit when it comes to when to spank a child, I mean I wasn't spanking my one year old or anything like that.But when they start getting up and walking a firm tap on their hand when they get a hold of something that could hurt them.And I know the difference between spanking and beating a child.

I know because I was abused when I was a child,and that alone taught me that I would never grow up and allow that to happen to my children.I was also there when the children services people told my dad that any more then ten swats with your hand is abuse.I am still wondering why ever one is so worried about spanking when far worse things are happening to children at the hands of their parents. When I was younger anyone who would babysit me and my siblings would have permission to spank us. What about the parents who are killing their children and getting off with just a damn smack on the wrist because they plead insanity or the one that pisses me off the most is blaming postpartum depression.

When I had my first son I wound up with it and I knew something was wrong with me and got help.So, that is no excuse at all.Here's an idea why don't we focus on getting justice for all of the kids who have been murdered by their parents for no damned reason at all. Just the other day on the news here in Ohio,an eleven day old baby was murdered by one of it's parents,they killed the poor little baby by punching it in it's little stomach,and the doctors said that it wasn't the first injury that the little one had either.Or here is another one for you, a women, again here in Ohio, killed her baby by microwaving the poor child.But we are all so focused on spanking and crap like that instead of a real problem.

I think if everyone would stop and think they could find something else to be focused on other then spanking.Here's a good idea for you,what about finding a way to help the children that have been abused,or raped like I was when I was four years old.What should we do to prevent that from damaging them for their whole lives,how can we help them get the help they need.I think that we need to focus more on important things that can and should be prevented and or help the ones who these terrible things have happened to.If I want to spank my child I will,it's not like I do it in public, I don't, basically just because of parents who think it is abuse. I just think that there is more important things we could pass a law on,rather then wasting the time of everyone it takes to pass a law to keep me and anyone else who has made the decision to spank their children from doing it.Why not try to get harsher punishments for the people who are seriously hurting their kids or other peoples kids,instead of the people who are simply just trying to discipline their kids.
