Buying a new computer is easy unless you have not read this guide yet. Let's start with what a computer can do and what you need it for, only after that you can decide if it's worth to get one cheap or expensive and why you should never buy a super expensive computer.
When you buy for example the latest processor you will pay about 1000$ for it when in short you will get less than 10% performance compared with the previous version, but the price increases about 100%. That's not very smart as you already figured out. Another thing is that the latest pieces of hardware always have some failure or another because they were not intensively tested yet. This makes your new computer very prone to mistakes and other hardware failure not to mention that the drivers are not very mature yet... You should ever get the latest in technology. It's always a bad deal, no exceptions.
Next reason is that the best and most expensive equipement will see it's price dropped for less than 50% in less than six months. Just for you to see how fast a computer loses it's value. The worst thing on this earth t invest is in new technology. It loses it's value too soon and too fast to be any good. For example, if you got the best computer on the market today for 3000$, two years from now when the warranty already faded, you will get at best 1000$ for that computer maybe even less because you alrady used it too much. This makes buying the complete lastest computer another mistake.
If you want to make a good deal you should never buy the worst goods too. Not only they are always more expensive than what they should be, but also they are always not fast enough to run what you want to run today. For example if you want a computer to play computer games and you get the worst in the market you can be sure that almost no game will run with the top resolution and most of them might not even run at all! Just for you to check how bad buying the worst equipment is. It's even worse than buying the best one.
Finally we have the ones that are medium classed. They are the best deal because not only they offer the most value per dollar you spend on it, but they also give you the most balanced performance, durability, stability and other good features. They are always th best rated in the computer magazines and in other websites. They are the best simply because they have the most mature drivers, the best software and also the most games are already updated with patches for it.
That's it, never buy the top nor the bottom.
