Are there any real online jobs out there

Real online jobs do exist, but working at them is not an easy option. In some respects online jobs are no different to doing work offline. To be successful in any job requires time and effort, some personal skills and background knowledge.

Earning money from legitimate work at home usually relies on making sales or performing tasks online, unless you work independently, offer a unique service, or promote products that are not available from anyone else.

Surveys and Sites That Pay:

People who get a regular income from their online activities usually succeed by having multiple sources of income. It is possible to do this if you join sites that pay to click, do some online surveys, post in paying forums, and write at revenue sharing sites. These are real money making activities, but there is no guarantee of earning enough money to reach minimum payout at any site you join.

Money making sites will only pay out when you really work at them. Success will often depend on gaining active new referrals, or writing a great many articles, reviews or posts.

Blogging Jobs and Affiliate Marketing:

By far the best way to have a real online job is to be original, and to work as an individual, not to copy exactly what many others are doing.

If you want to work online with your own blog, you can use it to promote affiliate products or programs, get paid for writing posts, and earn money from the number of visitors who clicks on the ads. It is possible, and preferable, to try several or all of these options, rather than to rely on a single source of income.

Blogging and affiliate marketing requires basic knowledge of how to promote online, and a good understanding of how to get traffic to a website or blog.

Freelance Jobs:

Writing articles and reviews can, in time, become a real online job. You can submit to sites that make one off payments, and register at sites that have a marketplace for selling articles. An additional passive income can come from revenue sharing sites, based on the amount of page views for each article.

To be a successful freelance worker you must know how to pitch for work, and bid on job offers at freelance sites. It will be necessary first to build up a good portfolio of work, to show samples and prove your expertise to potential clients.

Finding Real Online Jobs:

Financial rewards are less reliable from online jobs. Many sites only pay for results. You can put a lot of time and effort into promoting a program, or marketing a product, but if there are no sales or sign-ups, there is no income earned.

It is not possible simply to sign up for something and immediately start to make money. Never believe what a site or site promoter claims, without making an effort to discover the truth from other sources.

It is possible to buy a ready-made business or customized webpage online, but often these are just mirror sites, identical to all the others being promoted by people who have bought into the same business.

Many online business opportunities are simply a way of getting people to purchase a product in the hope of earning money from it. What the site is selling is not really the product, or a viable business. It is selling the idea of making money and does not necessarily fulfill the hope of earning money.

Before you even start to find an online job, it is wise to do plenty of research, and learn some marketing skills. Knowledge and insight can be gained by searching and networking online, participating in forums, and reading blogs about how successful people make money. Some strategies for success should be worked out before signing up at any money making sites.

Real online jobs are out there, if you take the right approach, and are prepared to do some real work.
