Website reviews: Work From Home HQ.com

I first heard about Work From Home HQ from a large number of MyLot users who were thrilled to have found a great new way to earn online. I was extremely skeptical when I heard about it; I found it hard to believe that there really was a website that was paying users to copy and paste things onto Back Page and Craigslist.

Work From Home HQ claims to provide "Work you can do from anywhere and get paid" to its members. In reality, the tasks it requires its members to complete to get paid are not work at all. Anyone who creates an account and logs into the site is taken to the control panel, where available "jobs" are posted. Currently, Work From Home HQ's members are able to earn by posting advertisements to Back Page, posting advertisements to Craigslist, or writing articles. Posting an advertisement to Back Page earns members one cent, while posting an ad to Craigslist earns fifteen cents and writing an article-which James Orr, WFHHQ's owner, can turn around and resell to Ezinearticles.com-is currently rewarded with eighty cents to a dollar.

There's one huge problem with what Work From Home HQ is doing, though-every single advertisement that it asks its members to post on BackPage or Craigslist is spam, plain and simple. Work From Home HQ hands members everything they need in order to post advertisements-title text, advertisement text, even the link to the posting forum for the relevant Craigslist subdomain is given in the control panel! What I don't understand is why more of Work From Home's members don't stop and question why James Orr doesn't just post the advertisements himself since he's clearly done all the work involved.

The sad reality is that James Orr is taking advantage of Work From Home HQ's members. By recruiting others to post his advertisements for him, he is minimizing his own risk in the venture. I've seen quite a few disgruntled WFHHQ members who were very upset to find that the advertisements they were posting for James were being "ghosted" by Craigslist. Because ghosted advertisements are not visible to Craigslist's visitors, WFHHQ's members are not being paid for postings they are making. In addition, there are a number of users whose Craigslist accounts are being banned from posting on the site because their postings have been flagged as objectionable so many times.

Despite the fact that Work From Home HQ has been reported to reliably pay its members, it is not one I would ever consider using to make money online. The majority of the money to be made from the site is available only by spamming Back Page and Craigslist with advertisements for real estate investment "opportunities." While it does also offer a way to earn by writing articles, members are limited to writing a maximum of one article per day, and are paid extremely substandard amounts when compared to what they could earn from a legitimate site like Associated Content or Helium.
