Between us oceans, treacherously deep
before us mountains, perilously steep
unbridled passion tamed by crashing waves
ignited spark withheld from fuel it craves
Connecting us, an interwoven web
sustaining us, these words that flow and ebb
a bond formed on the strength of common ground
an intimate exchange so rarely found
By day and night we come together here
though distance separates, hearts hold us near
our body clocks now synchronised, in tune
with astral phases ruling sun and moon
Within this net restricted space frustrates
Beyond, for us a new horizon waits
