I have been writing for Associated Content for nearly two years now, and in my opinion this is the most reliable website to write for. I have been paid literally hundreds of times by www.associatedcontent.com.

If you are considering writing for this website, or have never heard of it, please let me give you a brief introduction, in layman's terms. You can publish content with exclusive or non exclusive rights, if you opt for upfront payments depending on the quality of your article and how many other articles on the subject exist, you will be offered from fifty cents up to twenty dollars for the article. Each article must be at least 400 words in length.

Within a week your article will be reviewed and you will be receive an offer for upfront payment. You can accept it, decline it and revise your work or wait for a better offer. If you accept the upfront payment offer with a day the payment will post to your paypal account. It is pretty simple.

I believe you must be in the US to be eligible payments, unless that has changed within the last year or so. All content submitted will earn page views, this includes pictures, videos and slide shows as well as articles.

Each article sold is paid separately, there is no minimum payment level, but until you have 1000 page views you will not see a performance payment. The rate is from $1.50 to $1.70 depending on your clout level for 1000 page views. I enjoy about ten dollars a month in performance pay.

I don't write for Associated Content as much now as I did before because they aren't paying as much per article as I was earning in the beginning. I was averaging $7 an article, and I have seen my offers go down to as low as 99 cents once. That is disappointing, and there are many other sites that will pay me more per article. These days I have to consider who is going to offer me the most money for my work, instead of who I started with.

Associated Content is a great place to start your career or hobby as a writer, and if you are skilled at promoting your articles you can earn a decent amount of money on page views. This website definitely does pay writers for their articles! There is no catch or gimmicks, and best of all no minimum account balance to reach before you see your money. As long as you are verified and following their user agreement, you can earn a limitless amount of money from associated content, and best of all the wait for payment is not long at all, sometimes just a few hours.
