Poetry: I love you

by sweety

Created on: March 23, 2009

Like a deep soothing voice so calm & friendly
whispering, breathing, secrets exchanging.
A tickle of the ear but listening, thinking,
wanting to reply, lips together & glistening.
Waiting for the silence,
Inhale and exhale.
Something is very close,
too soon to tell.
Suddenly it's quiet
Now nature is speaking, breathing so heavy
that the heavens are leaking.
The smell is refreshing,
and so follows excitement,
the feeling takes over
from the time of enlightment.
Lips are trembling to open wide
thoughts are sporadic and words seem to hide
throat is being cleared
eyes are getting focused
butterflies fill the air and now I notice.
