These are some random facts about Dachshunds. They are playful, fun dogs, known for their propensity for chasing small animals, birds, and tennis balls with great determination and ferocity.

Many dachshunds are stubborn, making them a challenge to train. They have a loud bark, which makes them good watchdogs.

Dachshunds are known for their devotion and loyalty to their owners, though they can be standoffish toward strangers. This in its self can create a little challenge, because if you happen to have more than one of them you will find yourself constantly making sure you divide your time fairly between both, and you could end up with a pouting Lil Dachshund on your hands.

They have a very expression able face about them and you can actually read their face to what they are thinking. Reminding you of a small child, about two and they seem to stay there, age wise.

The only real draw back I can see with this particular type of dog is that you will want more than one.

After you finally get to be around them and you can see first hand how much love one little pet can offer you. Well let's just say if you have heart strings, then you will undoubtedly be smitten at first glance.

They will seem to interrupt your moves and be with you every step. As if it is a new adventure every time you start to do your everyday routine.

If you are the type of person that can feel warm and fuzzy inside from the tail wagging and licking at your ankles, well then this is the pet for you.

Besides affection and showing it, is what these dogs are all about.
