Poetry: Worth the wait

Dedication

Glistening brightly in a tried endeavor, heaven shines its brilliant light,

Softly falling through these two spheres, its reflection towards my sight,

Kept broken by these walls, your world lies within hopeful glare,

Bound to my place, forever forsaken, I am left to only stare

From these stars of such kind resolution, hearing thoughts you would never speak,

Unbecoming, of a distant gaze, I saw a tear drifting off from your cheek,

And dreaming of hearing your hearts song, I wished it would come true,

Forevermore pledging my own heart, so one day I may be with you,

Whilst I lie back, close my eyes and drift to sleep, I pass willingly into the night,

Taking a breath as I wake in heaven, with you in my arms at morning light.
