Our Stars and Stripes Will Always Fly
"In Flanders Field the Poppies grow..."
Another poem from long ago,
Another war, where young men died,
To buy our freedom, lay side by side.
Many wars have come and gone
We've won them all except just one.
Today we win, but it's said we lose,
Defeat it's claimed that we must choose.
We claim our freedom,
We'll not be slaves;
Our men and women, strong and brave
We can't forget the lives they gave.
Their sacrifice is not in vain
Their love of country is our gain.
Because of you it is our cry
Our stars and stripes will always fly.
