Can you really earn $50 with Reviewstream.com

by Justin Manucci

Created on: March 22, 2009

Have you ever used www.reviewstream.com ? When I decided to first look at www.reviewstream.com I thought maybe it might be a good idea to write and submit some reviews to this website, and maybe make some extra money. After all, I had heard some decent things about making money from this website by performing searches online for people who have used this website in the past. There is a thing going around that you can easily make $50 from this website service, which I don't find to be true. I find the website to be cluttered, unorganized, and frankly poorly run. Despite this, from my experience I believe that it is not worth the trouble.

Although when they first started, and had thousands of dollars in their beta test bank to pay out to review producers, I find that many of the reviews they are accepting now are only being paid what they call a "bulk rate", which in reality just pennies. I submitted a review that was over 300 words, and it was denied saying that they were unwilling to pay the full rate for the review, and that I could resubmit it to be considered for the bulk rate. In other words, they wanted to take my quality review that took me time to write, and pay me possibly 20 to 50 cents for it (approximately). I felt that this was a complete waste of my time and energy, as that was working for earnings that were not worth it at all.

Because I do not have extensive experience working with Reviewstream, I obviously cannot guarantee that you won't make money off it. My recommendation to you if you are interested in trying it out, is to submit a review that maybe you have already written, and hadn't published it anywhere yet and see if they accept it. Hopefully, you'll have better luck than me and can make some money online with them. If not, then you can do what I do, and use other sites to write for, such as my favorite, Associated Content.

It can be tough to start off making money online by writing, but eventually once you get the hang of things you'll see the money start to pour in. Although reviews are commonly not accepted by many article writing sites for upfront payment, if you write some articles instead, of submit those reviews to other sites or for performance payments only on Associated Content, I'm sure you can make a little bit of extra money for your pocket.

Overall, I'd like to conclude that it is tough to make money online writing for anyone, but I do not think anyone should rely on ReviewStream in order to make some extra cash online. There are much better alternatives that you should use.
