Wonderful America, wonderful America, the country I love,
For each morning and evening I live
In the land of opportunities. I thank God
For the sunshine, and the sunset, the rain and snowfall,
The oaks and the pines and the colorful leaves,
The summer and the winter, I like them all.
A land of riches and warmth, it's a home away from home.
Life is busy and the wheels run fast in their lanes.
Time is precious, no time to waste to eat and drink
All is fast food, you know what I mean.
Like a light house in a stormy ocean to shelter
The needy and to protect the weary,
You're a land of glory and grace.
The beauty of beauties and wonder of wonders,
Where eagles soar the sky and the human mind
Reaches up to the new horizon to give hope for the wandering mind.
To make people "somebody," to be equal in and to all,
It's a wonderful America, the land I love.
With gratitude in my heart I want to say, "God bless America."
