Why McDonald's is marketing nutritional value of its fast food

McDonald's has been an institution for years, all over the world. People have enjoyed the taste of their food for low prices. Just like smoking back in the old days, people didn't realize that eating a Big Mac could actually be unhealthy to the human body.

But ever since the early 1980s, food organizations have been protesting fast food chains for their use of fatty oils and bad nutritional value, and customers have become smarter. They're now thinking "Hey, I shouldn't be eating this after all," and the chains like McDonald's are realizing it. Companies like McDonald's have been in lawsuit after lawsuit defending their claim that their food isn't as bad as it's made out to be. Millions of dollars have been lost to groups protesting their food, and they're sick of it.

Since a few years ago, McDonald's has begun to show their foods' nutritional value. It's on the boxes, the bags, the menu, and all over the restaurants. But why?

McDonald's food is now healthier than it was just 10 years ago, and that's a fact. McDonald's just wants their customers to know it, and they want the protesters to know it as well. They are using non-fat oils and healthier ingredients to make the foods everyone knows and loves. Have you taken a look at their nutritional facts? Compared to years back, the chain has become wiser. They have admitted that yes, their food is unhealthy, and yes, you shouldn't eat it on a regular basis.

Now that it's out in the open, they're hoping by making it more nutritional for everyone, they'll be able to bring in more customers who normally didn't eat the food before. They're also hoping to make these protest groups happy, which will eventually lead them to save money and stop the negative publicity.

I don't see anything wrong with it. After all, it's a known fact that fast food isn't healthy. I think it's a great thing that McDonald's is showing their healthy side, working in the laboratories to make food good for everyone. They've obviously started something good. Now chains like Wendy's and Burger King are doing the same thing.

They're switching to non-fatty ingredients and they want their customers to know it. In this time of economic despair, they have to do whatever they can to keep their customers coming and paying for their normal foods. By showing that their Big Macs, french fries, and chicken nuggets are in fact healthy, they're making more money now than ever before.
