Songs: Domestic violence

Created on: March 21, 2009   Last Updated: July 17, 2009

Another seething rage

Another row about my age

Another Glasgow Kiss

A wasted night in casualty

And they can see

You're beating me

(Verse 2)

Could I make you well?

Could I end this living hell?

And whoever knows?

Perhaps your mind will change

And we can take it all the way

(Chorus 1)

Then you repent and we start laughing

And drunken nights don't seem do bad

Though I'm black and blue

Because of youyou

(Verse 3)

Walked into another door

Everybody's heard it all before

But we all pretend

That they can't see

You're beating me

(Regularly)

(Chorus 2)

Then you confess, apologising

And all my fear melts to the ground

Even though I'm black and blue

Because of you (you)

(Verse 4)

Maybe you'll never stop

A leopard never changes its spots

And you'll always be

Cheating, stampeding, beating up

On me (regularly)
