Bloated like a gas balloon
nauseous from dawn 'til noon
prone to unexpected tears
joyous laughter, hidden fears
Pangs and twinges, its begun

heaving breath, gripping tight

Drugs and alcohol and cars
parties, nightclubs, seedy bars

life for you has just begun
A job, true love, let's settle down
wedding bells, a beautiful gown
away on a romantic honeymoon
thoughts of grandkids coming soon

the hopes and dreams, the pain and fears
we love them like no other could
a love that's born with motherhood...
