Revenue sharing has become really popular online because it is profitable for the writers and the webmasters. It is a really wonderful concept and there are lots of sites which use revenue sharing.
When a site shares its revenue, it means that they share a percentage of their revenue with a writer. They don't share all of their revenue, only a percentage of it. This is to reward the writer for their work. You may be wondering where the site gets its revenue. A site gets its revenue from advertisements and selling products through their site.
If you write an essay and someone views it, the site will get some money based on number of views or clicks on the ads. Then they will share this revenue with you and other members. Revenue sharing gives you the ability to earn for as long as your article remains online.
There are many revenue sharing sites out there and some can pay you as much as a full-time job. Here are some great revenue sharing sites.
Helium This is the site you are reading the article on. Helium shares its ad revenue with writers and also pays them upfront payment based on the writing stars. This upfront payment is a bonus to the revenue share. Revenue sharing is done based on number of views.
Associated Content This is a competitor of Helium and also offers upfront payments. It pays based on number of views and shares its revenue with other members. However, you must be from United States to get upfront payments on Associated Content.
Triond Triond is another revenue sharing site and allows you to write for different sites in their network. You can get a lot of recognition because your work will be placed on different sites, and also get revenue share.
Hubpages This is a great site where you can write about a lot of different topics and earn revenue.
These are some of the best revenue sharing sites.
Remember, a lot of revenue sharing sites pay your revenue in pennies and might have their minimum payout set really high. If the site does not pay upfront payments, it is most likely not worth the time and effort. However if you are looking for recognition and looking for publishers then all sites listed above are worth writing for.
However, I would suggest that only write for two of these sites. The two, which I would recommend, are Helium and Associated Content. Helium has a lot of publishers and Associated content has higher upfront payments. They are both great sites to write for and share their revenue.
