How to lose 15 pounds with the Grapefruit Diet.
Grapefruits may possess unique chemical properties that reduce insulin levels which promotes weight loss. Not only does grapefruits promote weight loss but it also has been proved to have health benefits with it.
So if you are looking to lose 15 pounds and live a healthier life then take my advice and follow these simple steps in the grapefruit diet.
Every morning with breakfast, eat a half a grapefruit or drink a 8oz glass of grapefruit juice (unsweetened) with a cup of cooked oatmeal or if you prefer cold cereal try one cup of raisin brand
cereal with a half cup of 2% milk.
For lunch eat a half of grapefruit or drink a 8oz glass of grapefruit juice (unsweetened) with a tuna
sandwich on whole wheat bread or a small bowl of soup.
For dinner, yes eat a half a grapefruit or drink a 8oz glass of grapefruit juice (unsweetened) with a reasonable diner such as a piece of baked fish and a salad or baked chicken and beans.
The main idea is to always eat a half grapefruit or drink a 8oz glass of grapefruit juice (unsweetened) before each meal and to not eat foods that are high in fat. You should always stay away
from foods that are fried and foods that are high in carbohydrates.
Here are some examples of foods you can enjoy and stay on your diet at the same time. Skinless
chicken, beef, fish, seafood, beans,salads, and vegetables.
You really can eat almost anything as long as you cook or prepare it the right way and be careful not to eat to much at one time of anything.
For example instead of frying your chicken try baking it or putting it in a stir fry with some rice and vegetables. Be creative with your food so that you don't get tired of the same things every day this will help you stay focused so that you don't give up on your diet. The main key to stay on your diet is to enjoy what you are eating.
And when you get hungry between meals there is also lots of healthy snack foods that you can eat and they taste great. For example berry nut snack mix, popcorn, graham crackers, and fruit snacks.
It is also a good idea to stay active every day. Get at least 30 minutes of some kind of exercise every day even if it is just walking. You don't have to go out and join a fitness center or a buy some exercise type just make sure to fit some kind exercise into your daily routine. And don't forget your grapefruit.
