We are letting our world go to hell in a hand basket. We've got more problems now than ever and they are not going to go away on their own.
Climate change has advanced to the point that it's now the world's greatest problem. Unrest is escalating worldwide and for the first time in history, war could actually come to our own shores. The economy isn't getting any better and people are becoming paranoid and cold-hearted.
Jesus Christ spoke of a future time when the nations would be filled with perplexity.
"And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars but the end; is not yet and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold."
"And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth. For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be." (Matt. 24, Mark 13, Luke 21)
Those of us who have been watching for the signs as Jesus instructed, know full well what is happening, what the world is headed for, and basically what to do. However, Jesus also said there would be a great deception.
Climate change needs to be addressed right now and considering its rapid progress it looks like we are going to suffer stronger storms, colder winters and hotter summers.
In any case, we should prepare to meet the Lord of the universe who is able to make us worthy to escape the things which are coming upon the whole world.
