The television was invented in 1922 That's true Its images were black and white That's true Perhaps they colored the world with this limited painter's pallet
They showed us wars in black and white And we thought it was true They showed us politics in black and white And we thought it was true They showed us life in black and white And we hoped it was true
Now they paint the world in red and blue War is red or blue, politics is red or blue You're with us or against us, good or bad Black or white, red or blue The colors are different but the message is the same And it's not true
TVs aren't black and white anymore Truth never was
