Jesus was a god not The God so therefore Jesus was the son of God as everyone knows him to be. Who did he pray to? Why did he pray at all? Jesus said to pray to God and he said no one can reach God unless they pray through his kingly office. This makes every thing a little easier to understand because when the Angel Gabriel told Mary and her aunt Elizabeth they were to have special children John the Baptizer because he was the first to baptize and Jesus the Messiah Son of God. John said of Jesus that he, (John) was not fit to tie his (Jesus) sandals but didn't say he was God because he even baptized Jesus.
Mary was in line of David as was Joseph and we know that Mary had two earthly parents and never claimed to be anything more than that. Jesus was born to teach people how to serve God and pray for his kingdom to come and after teaching for three and a half years he was killed by his own people. He healed the sick, the blind, and the lame, and rarely did they ever get the point he was trying to teach them, Yes they were glad to be healed but lacked the knowledge of what it meant to follow him and imitate what he was doing from door to door, house to house, city to city etc. and to do this was to bring more blessings than all the healings ever accomplished.
Mary & Joseph loved their son; (as he was considered to be) very much, and when he got distracted and went in before the priests and astounded them in his knowledge and ways of speaking at twelve years of age, she still rebuked him for doing this and it says he remained in relative subjection to them. He did tell them that they should have known where he would be, that being in the house of His Father.
Mary watched him as he died to set us free of the sins of Adam and Eve and she and other women were the first to go to his tomb. The angels told them that he was alive and where Jesus was. Then they told Mary and the others to go in and tell the twelve; the eleven faithful and the other that was to replace Judas Escariot who was dead. Mary was not the mother of God Almighty, she was the mother of Jesus and the rest of her children. We still only have one creator and one only begotten son of God and perhaps millions of other gods but the ones with Jesus in heaven are called Angels. The ones on earth are the god of this system of things Satan the devil and his demons. So; no, Mary is not the mother of the almighty God Jehovah, the creator of everything in the universe.
