Many women and young girls feel inadequate and compare our bodies to those of models from magazines and celebrities on television.
But seriously, if you are like women I have come across and hate even having your blood tests then are you really going to be happy having your entire naked body prodded and poked around for thousands of pounds? You need to really consider this realistically.
Maybe you look in the mirror and are unhappy with the 'extra bits around the neck' or 'that wobbly thing that I call my tummy' - but is there definitely no other way to get rid of it?
Understanding the procedure of liposuction plays a key part in whether or not you will want it or not. This is what happens for those who didn't already know.
Small tubes are inserted into incisions in your skin, the excess fat is then sucked out through this tube, known as a cannula. Usually two or more parts of the body are done at the same time.
There are several very important health risks that people overlook when turning to liposuction because they are so eager to slim down.
- So what are the cons?
1.) When the skin heals, it may not be smooth and may feel bumpy
2.) Per site of your body, the cost is between 1500 and 3000 (and that's uncovered by insurance)
3.) After the procedure has taken place your skin will be bruised and swollen and sore.
4.) You may be off work and not up to your usual standard of activity, feeling drained of energy.
And the worst part is that there is no certainty about you liking the outcome.
