What Color is Your Heart
When all is well, we normally possess a
Cheerful-colored heart that shines
Brightly from the inside out
If we are sad, heart-broken and lonely,
The heart tends to take on a bluish tone
If we become mean and vindictive,
The heart may be the blackest of black
Bruised by ignorance and
Self-serving to utmost
Is your heart any of the above hues?
Or, are you someone that has a
Heart that is comprised of a variety of colors,
Or, is your heart colorless,
Filled with nothing,
Emitting nothing,
Cold, confused
And never amused?
Regardless of your heart's
True color, get a tune-up
And as needed, periodically
Do preventive maintenance
And get those hoses replaced
For if continue to operate
This fragile vehicle without
Fine tuning
It can become very costly to repair
And a replacement may not
Be available in time to prevent
Permanent damage to yourself
Or those around you.
