Drifting
As I sit in the darkness I await my date with fate and all else seems hopeless, as I conjure images of the past I begin to realize my purpose, as weary as I am I begin to rise I begin to stand against all that has been and ever will be, I begin to defy. I have no one at my side and all seems to fade but I hold on and persevere as I defy the void in which I came. It tries and tries again to smother me and become me but I still defy I make it a part of me as I move into the next reality. I am confronted by my peers and asked why and how as I am degraded and they try to shove me down so very far in the muck, and yet I stand I feel compelled to show them just what I have become just so they can know that I defy them as well and they finally know that there existence is pointless, and I take there existence and add it to my own and move on to the next existence. I stand before my creator and am told to bow told to show my respect and yet i still stand and with the help of those I have become and yet denied I look them in the eye and let the know when they ask me why that it is simple my lord and my lady i exist to Defy. At the end of time my body lies broken but my soul will stand and with all Ive done all will know that in the end everything means something and yet nothing unless you learn to defy what you learn and what they say to become your own you and that will eventually be the day that we can all say that we defied all and survived to share the moment of our triumph over the normal things and expectations of the living.
