How to use the fork in the road to achieve

We have all come to a 'fork in the road', many times in our lives. We come to that place where we have a choice to make, where a new opportunity or distraction presents itself.

The fork in the road can be a scary place. It can also be a an amazingly wonderful place to be. The fork can be scary if you fear change, which many people do. If you do have a fear of change, the fork in the road is an incredible opportunity for you. It is an opportunity to face your fear of change. We cannot eliminate our fears until we boldly face them.

The fork in the road is a miraculous place to be, because each path will take you to a completely different future. That one decision will completely alter every single moment of the rest of your life. It will effect what you will do, where you will go, who you will meet and, most importantly, who you will become. How awesome is that!?!

I know as you read that last paragraph, you may be saying- "Awesome!?! How scary is that!?!". Whether it is "awesome" or "scary", is completely up to us and how we choose to perceive the situation. You can choose to be afraid of what might happen or choose to be excited about the new adventure.

Know that every fork you come to in the road of your life, one path is your highest path and one is not. Your Higher Self always knows your highest path. If you are unsure of what path to take, ask your higher self. If you are faced with that decision, close your eyes, take some deep breathes and ask The Higher Power, your Higher Self and your Spirit Guides for guidance. The answers will come to you through your 'gut feeling' and through those quiet whispers in your mind.

Pay attention to your inner gut feeling. When you are ready to choose a path, pay attention to your gut. Do you feel a lite good feeling or a tight anxious feeling? If you feel a tight anxious feeling, that is probably your Higher Self telling you that is not the way. If you feel a lite good feeling that is probably your Higher Self saying yes, go for it.

Many times that your inner guidance and your mind disagree. Your inner guidance is saying yes, this is your highest path. Your mind is saying no, this makes no sense. Many, if not most, times our highest path does not make logical sense. We must take leaps of faith, follow our inner guidance, and do it anyway.

If you cannot get clarity from your inner guidance right away, I encourage you to wait on making that decision, if you can. Take some time to meditate and silence your mind. In your meditations continue to ask your Higher Self for clarity on what decision is in alignment with your highest path. If you continue to ask, the answers will come.

The next time you come to a fork in the road, in your life, I invite you to choose to face that fork with excitement and gratitude. Be grateful for this opportunity to make the decision that will shower your life with blessings and joy.
