Online hacking has been around for as long as the internet has existed! Well all understand that the internet is never safe and without securing our computer, the risk of viruses is high. It is necessary to take immediate action before you suffer some drastic consequences. Hopefully, this article should help you find out how your computer might have been hacked.
In today's world of computer users, they fall into victim of internet hackers. These hackers can attack computers and steal your personal information from the other side of the world. It would be very surprising if our own beloved ones were the culprits. Hackers install a monitor program on the user's computer to see what they do. It is possible that the motives might be that the hackers are trying to find your personal details such as bank information and website passwords.
Unfortunately, internet users don’t have the slightest thought that their computer has been hacked and can unknowingly release their information. But you can solve this issue yourself when you begin to notice suspicious activity.
1) Have you found some new programs that you know nothing about?
2) Did you even install these programs into your computer?
3) When you surf the net, are you redirected to sites automatically?
Usually, when a computer is hacked and you notice suspicious activity, the above questions might be asked. If your computer runs very slow or it continuously crashes without opening too many programs, this may well be a sign that your computer has been hacked or infected by viruses.
Buy an Anti-Virus program!
A number of Anti-Virus programs are available. Some are actually free but with very limited features. Paid packages have several more features including firewalls, ad blockers, intrusion prevention and more! It is best to buy the paid packages to strongly secure your computer. Free anti-viruses don’t really help much apart from removing viruses. You should continue updating your Anti-Virus at least once a week which would be a good way to avoid new viruses from attacking your computer.
Stay calm and do not panic
If you do find out that you are under attack, don't panic. First, you need to show the hacker what you are really made of. He might have done some damage to your computer already. His/her attack might be net-based so the good decision to take is to disconnect the connection as soon as possible.
Don't worry if you find hits coming to your firewall from outside because it is only doing its job and you are safe to continue browsing without disconnecting.
However, when you receive hits from inside the computer which go out through the net, you should immediately disconnect the connection so that it doesn't reach its illegal destination.
Summary
Hackers on our computers pose a risk to our identity and our own computer. If they lurk around our computer world, it will be invaded with unwanted visitors. Act quickly before your life is ruined!
