Swiffer dusters are dusts worst nightmare. The swiffer beginning kit comes with several separate poles that easily screw together. There is a rectangular bottom that snaps on to the end of the bottom, pole. The swifter cloths wrap around the rectangular end. The end pivots, so the range of motion enables the user to clean floors at record speed. Also, the range of motion enables the user to reach tight spaces. Finally, with speed and ease the user can switch from cleaning in one direction to another.

On hard floors, swiffer does a great job. It picks up dirt, dust, pet hair and more. Of course, large leaves or sand will not stick to the swiffer. So, those messes will need a vacuum or a broom. But, overall, swiffer is a great cleaning tool. If you have pets and hard floors. A swiffer is a must. It picks up dog fur or cat fur so well and so fast. Who has time to spend dusting in this day and age? The swiffer is a fast way to clean. If you are cleaning hard floors, like ceramic, hardwood or laminate, swiffer will make cleaning a lot less of a chore.

The swiffer cloths themselves can be used with out the duster. Inside the house, they can be used to dust just about any surface. The swiffer cloths used alone still enables the user to quickly dust. There is an added bonus. there is no need to use spray on dusting products. The cloths can be used dry to dust off furniture, base boards, window sills and blinds. Appliances, the top of the refrigerators and all other appliances can benefit from a swiffer cloth. Televisions are dusted within seconds. The screen of the television and the back of the television. The backs of televisions are usually a dusting challenge. But, get a swiffer and conquer television dust in a snap. The dashboards of cars benefit from a quick swiffer dusting.

Probably one of the best things about swiffers is that children between the ages of 18 months and 4 years are amazed by them. The swiffers are so light weight that most small children can push them around and are entertained by them. They are entertained and you have a little one who is dusting and cleaning the floor. If you have small children, that alone is a reason to go buy one. I saw a child so taken by his mom's swiffer, he had to take it in the car when ever they left home. I know my own daughter was amazed by the swiffer too. But fortunately she never wanted to take it in the car with her.

The one draw back is the cost of the swiffer sheets. They are not cheap. Also, it is not a cleaning tool that helps the environment. Constantly, throwing away swiffer sheets and buying more. But, the swiffer tool is great. If the environmental issue bothers you, there's always the option of buying washable dust cloths. Or alternating washable with the swiffer so you are not using the disposable cloths all the time.
