Is she really giving the right image? No and yes. She is 17, and doing what all other girls are doing at her age. We all want certain things the older we get. Since she is famous everything gets blown out of proportion. She is a teenager who is having fun and enjoying her life. We all wish that we had that lifestyle at that age. So what if she has a boyfriend who is older then her, if her parents are approving of it, then it should not be anybody else's business. Her parents know what's best for her. Every parent needs to educate their kids and not blame the TV, or the radio. You are in control of what they can watch and listen. I don't think that Miley is doing half of the things that other pop/teen princesses did. Thinking she will turn like Britney, not likely. Just look at what she has accomplished at her age. So far Miley is a good role model, she is showing young girls that you can be whatever you want. Her dad is always at her side, which shows us that she has great parents that care about her and support her at what she does. Look at what happened to some younger stars Macaulay Culkin (Home Alone), Aaron Carter, Lindsey Lohan, Kristen Dunst, Drew Barrymore just to name a few. Most of them are nowhere to be seen or create bad publicity that just keeps getting out of hand. Miley has a family that keeps her grounded. We see her going out to eat or skating like that's a bad thing, while the other actors her age are going out partying and drugs.
She has her whole life in front of her. We all learn from our mistakes and we can't expect her to be perfect. Nobody is perfect in this world. Tabloids; what do they want? Drama, of course, that's what sells all of those magazines. Why do most of us buy them? To remove ourselves even if it's only for an hour and read about someone else's messed up life and we forget about our own. They don't want to show all the good things that she has done because drama creates more press. She is not like any other singer who will call the paparazzi just to be on the cover page, or to get some press out of it. She is very passionate about her music and her career. We can't judge her on being a teenager and wanting to have life that doesn't revolve around paparazzi and tabloids. She is been on the spotlight since 11, and has written songs and acted on Hanna Montana since 2006. If you have read some of the articles and people that she worked with, you will see that she is an intelligent and respected in her career. It must be a tough life living in the public eye and having your every move watched, so that you don't land on the cover pages for small mistakes that can happen to the best of us. She is someone that we will see for a long time.
