When the State of the economy hits home

When this happens the word economy should be replaced with survival. When the state of survival hits home...everything must be reevaluated. When economics affects the cash flow of the house hold it is time to do what most families have done for eons.

They get their hussle on....Every family will experience the effects of a staggering economy in different ways. For some families money may not be a problem right away. However, families that are affected financially will have to find ways to supplement a loss income or find a way to replace an income.

GNP the Gross National Product or simply put the buying and selling of goods and services. When the demand for these goods and services drop...it most likely means that consumers are not buying; Thus, the need to produce items for consumer use has slowed or stopped! In which case there is a big supply of products and no selling is taking place.

Hussling may mean someone has to be retrained in a field that will be entirely new to them. For men, it may mean finding odd jobs to perform for your neighbors...such as yard work, painting, or fixing a leaky faucet if you have to. If your job has been fazed out completely, don't wait until your unemployment benefits run out before you seek to be retrained. It is good to have some type of income coming in while you are being retrained....than to be involved in some training program that is taking up most of your time everyday. It is not hard to figure out, if you have no money coming in to speak of; then it most likely mean you will quit your training....it is about survival.

DOES THE GOVERNMENT HELP IN THESE SITUATIONS:

Yes, the Federal Government has allocated millions of dollars in grant money to your local Employment Security Commission for you to take advantage of. The program is called (WIA) or workforce investment act. The eligibility requirements are very minimal. Once qualified, the program will cover up to 2 years of college or vocational training and it will not affect your unemployment benefits; Your job search will be waived until you complete your training.

The ESC has a list of training providers who have been selected by a state agency to provide training for qualified applicants. Some of the programs are only a month in duration. This is only one resource at your disposal. If you are one of the fortunate ones, and have saved for a rainy day. Now is a perfect time to purchase property...true, it is raining right now as far as our economy goes...but smart investors know that it does not rain always and that the Sun will return!

Some people may find this hard to believe but money can be legally made doing just about anything!....UPS is a idea that was started by a man helping deliver groceries. The point is most companies nowadays charge for everything! And if you have a service that you are good at...then there is absolutely no reason you should not be paid for it. It's called a hussle.
