I'm sure they're smiling

The way I did when I still had you here with me

I hope they love you

The way I did when I could see you anytime

I bet they're happy

Like I was when I could call you when I needed

Someone to make me feel okay

The strength that helped me through the days

Now part of my life has gone away because:
You charmed the angels

You made them fall in love with you

Wish I could change their mind

But now there's nothing I can do

They took you, like they took the breathe

Right out of me, the day you left

Wish I could see you one more time

And hold you in these arms of mine

But you

You charmed the Angels.
I Wish they would hate you

That they would change their mind and give you back

I hope they need you

The way I need you when I miss what I once had

I know I miss you

Even though I had you all these years

To make me feel okay
