A girls' night in can be loads of fun. You don't need to go out in order to have a good time. Staying in has many advantages and is a chance for you and your girlfriends to catch up on gossip and get some pampering in as well. Just a while ago I had a great night with the girls when we had nothing to do so we decided to hang out at home.

We drank some wine, made a couple of cocktails and then we spread a bunch of chips and cookies on the table and had a junk food feast. While we ate we took turns getting facials trying out all the products I had in my bathroom cabinet. I also found some temporary hair color that I had bought last year for a party but never used. I had three different bright color shades, needless to say soon enough we all ended up with rainbow hair!

Sporting our new hues, we settled on the couch with a huge bowl of popcorn and watched a couple of extremely predictable and typical chick flicks. When we tired of the TV we moved on to the balcony and gave each other manicures and pedicures.

Once our nails dried, we moved on to my bedroom and raided the closet. We held mock runway shows by creating the most awful and extreme outfits we could put together. We were laughing so hard that my neighbor came by to see what was happening. After she saw how much fun we were having she accepted our invitation to join the party. She had a blast and she's well into her 50's, but she turned out to be great fun!

We stayed up until after four in the morning, so I urged the girls to stay the rest of the night and sleep over; we all had quite a bit to drink, so this was a safer idea The next morning we all slept in and had breakfast delivered, when the delivery guy came with the food and saw our colorful and messy hair he could not walk away fast enough! That girls' night in turned out to be one of the most fun times I can remember. I will never forget it and it will stay with me forever.
