that is where the most impressive places can be found. English is becoming more and more common. Go now, before the touristic mass will hit this site!
FINLAND
This list would not have been complete without a Scandinavian country on it. Finland compiles with all the conditions: its safe, the atmosphere is good, its beautiful, people speak fluently English and they have the euro. From the southern capital of Helsinki to the cold north of Lapland, the Land of the Thousand Lakes is worth it to be discovered. As soon as you get there, youll be welcomed by friendly people and an open landscape. Theres too much to do to list it here, but a snow scooter ride and a dive in frozen lake followed by a stay in a sauna should really make you feel like you are in Scandinavia.
BERLIN
The vital and vast capital of Germany has many faces, most of them created during the several periods it went through in the 20th century: the old buildings from before the World War(s), the Western part of Berlin, the Eastern part of Berlin which belonged to the Soviet Union and then everything that has been built after the two parts of one Berlin were re-united. Theres a lot to do these days in Berlin. Not only as for the nightlife, but especially for history lovers. Go figure it out yourself, in a city thats friendly, knows English and beautiful in the weirdest way you have ever seen.
PRAGUE
Besides London, the only city in this list where you cant pay with euros. But its worth listing it: Prague is often compared to Venice, referred to as the Paris of the East (of Europe, that is). The Charles Bridge and the castle of the parliament upon the hill across the river are only two of the sites that Prague is famous for. But the most interesting are simply the little streets with its squares in the city center. You will absorb the Prague atmosphere and there wont be another city in the world where you can feel the same. Munich comes close, may be, but doesnt have the overwhelmingness Prague has.
DUBLIN
Dublin is a city where you can feel how English was forced upon the Irish, but despite their struggle with the frustration of that, at least they all speak it now and thats a good thing for visitors. Dublin is not very special in the sense Prague, Berlin, Amsterdam, Rome, London, Vienna and Barcelona are, but the nightlife and the Irish beer make it so worth it. Pay a visit to the Guinness Brewery, where you will be shown around in the world of beer making. Take a stroll along the coast, take day tours into the country side. Dublin is a very pleasant city. Small and metropolitan at the same time.
If you draw lines on a map between these destinations (from London to Amsterdam to Barcelona to Rome, etc.), youll have your Europe tour complete and you wont miss a thing. International bus lines from Eurolines, trains and airlines such as Ryanair and Wizzair connect all these destinations relatively cheap.
