capital in Europe. However, Barcelona is vital enough to be a capital (in fact, it IS the capital of the Catalan region) and when one walks down its streets and visits the main attractions, such as the Sagrada Familia and the Parc Quell, its no wonder that so many people want to visit it. The level of English is pretty high, unlike other places in Spain, and its a safe city, too. However, you may want to be warned about pickpocketing, as that is a booming business among some fellow human beings.
ROME
Rome is Rome. Nothing to compare to with. This is where, according to many people, European society was first created. Many historical sites still recall those days when the emperor was sitting in a hot tub, with scarcely dressed but beautiful woman around him and a bush of grapes on a silver plate next to him. The amount of sites to visit in Rome, with the Vatican upfront, is high and at the same time, all these sites can found near each other. Rome is a very walkable city. If you want a break from the city rush, go to the Bio Parko Zoo as it will take a stroll through a quiet and large park to get there. Cars really dont stop in Rome for cross walks.
VIENNA
The Austrian capital surprises many people. Its large parks and many manors give the city an unique atmosphere, but thats assumeably all people know about Vienna. There is so much more. How about the Spanish Horse Riding School? Only after years of education, the horse back riders are allowed to perform in the superb show they put on. The Prater Amusement Park attracts many people and many come for only one of the attractions: the High Wheel, which is more than 100 years old! Nightlife is great in Vienna, as is shopping. Its a safe city, which deserves a visit. People speak English there.
THE SLOVAK PARADISE
In this list of cities, one piece of European nature could not be left untold. Slovak Paradise National Park lies in the middle of Slovakia and is easy accessible through the city of Poprad. This National Park contains gorges, plateaux and waterfalls of over 60 meters. To some this park is known as the European Grand Canyon, to others as the European Yosemite Park. Although these world famous American pieces of nature are more impressive than Slovak Paradise, these names are not in place for no reason. Stay on the North side of the Park, as
