Should everyone have the right to be a parent?

Should everyone have the right to be a parent? That is a great question and it deserves an answer. In the wonderful country of the United States Of America everyone has the right to be a parent no matter what there qualifications are. I'm a mother myself living in the USA and I believe that you should have to take a test in order to have children. The reason I say that is because there are so many women out there that are abusing their children, hurting them leaving them for dead and even killing them. There are so many women out there going out getting pregnant not wanting a child to begin with and so they either adopt them out or abort them. Then you got the women that are out there having 10 kids and living off of the government to support them and then complaining because they can't provide for their children or they are in the way all the time. Children are a blessing and more people need to start treating them like they are instead of a waste of space and an inconvenience. I believe that if the government would require a permit for women to have children it would lower child abuse crimes and it would alleviate the need for welfare almost all together. I also believe that men should we screened to when it comes down to being a parent. There are more than enough men out there that are popping out child after child and not taking care of them as well, they do nothing more than make the kid and just get on with their life not even thinking about the welfare of the child and then move on to the next woman and get her pregnant. So those are some examples on why I believe the government should hand out permits to be a parent.

I think a prime example would be the octo mom. If you don't know the story here it is briefly. She's got 6 kids at home all under the age of 8 and she gets IVF done and gets pregnant with 8 more. She has the children and she is unemployed and living off of welfare and living with her parents in a 3 bedroom house. Does she have the right to be a parent? Well yes obviously she does have the right to be a parent, but she shouldn't be allowed to have 14 children. I don't believe anyone should be allowed to have that many children, they should have a limit on how many children you are allowed to have if they are going to allow everyone to be a parent. Again that's just my personal opinion and many people out there would say that I'm wrong and that because we do live in the United States Of America we have the freedom to bare as many children as we want.
