How Can I, When I
How can I look at him,
Without thinking of you?
How can I love him,
When he's not you?
What do I tell myself,
To make it last?
You've followed me,
From a secret past.
I thought you were a ghost,
A transparent dream.
My mind is clouded,
Unable to think.
When he touches me,
I pretend it's you.
Even his kisses,
Are empty too.
When I lay my head down,
I stare up at the sky.
Knowing this feeling,
Just isn't right.
So long ago I would've done anything,
Just to be with you.
Many nights I've cried,
While clinging to a picture of you.
When I look upon this diamond,
I'm saddened at the thought.
That what we could've had,
Has been lost.
Time cannot erase,
What love has branded on our hearts.
The passion we have,
Is a beautiful art.
When I hear his voice,
Calling my name.
I want to believe it's from your lips,
From which it came.

Of love
Is hurting

I see so many stars twinkling so brightly
The long grass slowly caress my face
