My Cat, Your Cat

(Your's Was Skinny; Mine Is Fat)

My cat, your cat;

I think it's time we had a chat.

Neighbor, I just have to say;

Yours was such an ornery brat.

*

Mine is called PhattBrat;

He's such a friendly chap.

The little scamp that you once had

Always came to "HereMac"

*

He's was nothing but an alleycat;

He didn't take any flack.

Checking out the garbage cans;

Always searching for a tasty rat.

*

Your was skinny; mine is fat;

Gone for days, then he'd come back.

Oh how I snickered when he hissed and spat

When he pounced on a spider for a little snack.

*

He kept me awake when I'd try to nap;

He'd play with my spools when I tried to tat.

He always found time to poop in my garden;

Mine has a litter box for that crap.

*

How he carried on like a proper little brat;

Always fighting and on the attack.

He always came over and beat mine up;

I'd scare him away with a loud hand clap.

*

Sorry, road kill; he just went splat;

He shouldn't have gone and chased my cat.

I guess he won't be causing any more trouble;

Because now he's just compost scrap.
