Poetry: To my daughter

by Moeze Lalji

Created on: March 15, 2009   Last Updated: May 25, 2011

To my daughter

Who I see
Growing

Sweet bells
Of loving support

Pulled by the
Universe

Taking away
My hair

For a shiny
Moon head

You laugh
At my snail legs

A compliment
To your continued
Education

Wish I was
Making new friends

In the style
Of your new times
