If you say yes to this question, I feel very bad for you. I used to be very overweight. I tried every diet in the book. The only one that actually worked was not eating foods that we all know have large amounts of fat, exercising, and eating in small quantities. We all know exactly what we need to do to lose weight; we just can't accept the fact that it takes hard work, dedication, and sacrifice. Most people are looking for the easy way out, they are not happy with how they look, but they are too lazy to put in the work. Don't think for one second that I am being a bully. I was one of those people. I knew what I had to do but was just too lazy to do it. So I looked for the three day diets, the fat burner pills, the pre-packaged meals that tasted like garbage. It was all in an attempt to find an easy way out of the work I would need to do in order to lose weight. If you are serious about losing weight, here is how.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /

You know what foods are bad for you. Don't try to rationalize or justify eating a particular kind of food. By the way, a salad at McDonalds has the same nutritional facts as a double cheeseburger, so you're not dieting when you eat salads at fast food restaurants. Eat vegetables, fruits, chicken, beans, corn, and lean red meat. There are no healthy candy bars or chips. A good standard to go by is the Natural Standard. In other words, if the food is not natural, do not eat it. (Notice, I did not say if it IS natural then you can eat it, some natural foods should not be eaten.) For example, are snickers bars natural? There are strawberry picking fields, banana trees, etc. Have you ever seen a snickers field or a snickers tree? No, because it's not natural, its synthetic (man-made), don't eat it. Moreover, eat five meals a day, every three hours eat one meal. However, these meals need to be small. A good standard a friend once told me was to not eat more food than could fit in your hand.

Diets take time people. You will not lose forty pounds in three days. Take your time, be disciplined, work hard, and you will succeed! Don't be fooled by miracle diets. They may work while your popping the pills or eating the pre-packaged foods. However, once you decide to eat real food again, you will gain even more weight than you lost. Losing weight was the best thing that could have ever happened to me, its truly a wonderful way to live. It helps in every aspect of life. You will be respected more and will have more confidence. If you are overweight, I hope you can feel the same way one day. Good luck!
