First of all, Scalos restaurant in Albuquerque, is one of the best Italian restaurants in the city. Back in Dec.of 1986, Scalos opened their traditional and fine cuisine pasta, seafood, and fish to the Nob Hill neighborhood in the center of Albuquerque. Paisano's Italian restaurant has been around since the early 1970's, and offers an amazing array of fresh Italian pasta dishes, baked bread, as well as, meats such as beef, poultry, and fish. Paisano's cooks their pasta dishes fresh with each order. One of their favorite sayings is that "We cook like our Italian Grandma." Paisano's even sells their own, Paisano's Traditional Marinara sauce, available to the public at a couple locations. Catering is also available to customers and businesses.
Trombino's is another Italian restaurant in Albuquerque, which prepares some of the best Italian pastas, pizzas, soups, meats, and desserts. The arched doorway, the restaurant dcor, and wood burning stoves, give Trombino's that rustic, authentic Italian feel when you walk through the door. Finally, there's Vivace Italian restaurant, in the Nob Hill District of Albuquerque, located near the University of New Mexico. Vivace, opened in 1996, has grown to become one of Albuquerque's leading Italian restaurants. The over 30 pasta dishes, featured on the menu, are made from scratch, and fresh fish and a variety of meats are offered also. The wine list at Vivace is remarkable, featuring a wide array of white, red, and sparkling wines.
Mimmo's Ristorante and Pizzeria in Albuquerque also can be considered one of the best Italian restaurants in the city, with their fine Italian food, family atmosphere, and great service. Mimmo's features a wonderful all-you-can-eat Italian Buffet. Sicilian style pizza, pasta dishes, and a Cappuccino bar top of their specialties.
The Farina Pizzeria Wine Bar is relatively new in the Albuquerque area, and features a unique selection of pizza's, as well as, antipasti, soups, salads, pasta, and desserts. An extensive fine wine list is featured at this restaurant and several beers.
Nana's Italian restaurant gives a person the at home feeling, when they sit down to dine at this restaurant. The restaurant has booths that are elevated above the floor and the atmosphere is casual. Customers can enjoy several authentic Italian pastas, for example, the calzones, or even order a hearty sub made to your liking.
