The Black Hills of South Dakota are a breathtaking and majestic place. Rich with history and culture, the variety of activities available make this the perfect family vacation spot. Mount Rushmore National Park
See the famous carving of Presidents Washington, Jefferson, T. Roosevelt, and Lincoln. Many activities are available, including sculpture workshops, a kids exploration area, audio tours, and ranger walks.

Custer State Park
Custer State Park offers a wide variety of activities and events. Walk in the Park nature hikes, with a different topic every day, educate adults and children alike. There are many hiking trails available, as well as various lodging options within the park.

Sylvan Lake Lodge

4. Evans Plunge Indoor Water Park and Pool

Peter Norbeck Visitor Center
Peter Norbeck visitor center is located in Custer State Park on the 66 mile scenic loop that includes such attractions as Iron Mountain Road, Needles Highway, and Pigtail Bridges. The stunning scenery is motivation enough to visit the museum, but while you are there, you can also take in a nature program and spend an afternoon learning about the rich history of this place.
