Easter egg hunts in Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas

There are many Easter egg hunts in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. You'll definitely want to get the kids out and enjoy the beautiful spring days that North Texas enjoys. Many of these Easter celebrations include arts, crafts, snacks and a chance for your child to have his picture taken with the Easter bunny. These are some of the best Easter egg hunts that Dallas and Fort Worth have to offer.

Easter Egg Hunt in Highland Village

The city of Highland Village presents an Easter Egg Hunt each year at the Unity Park baseball field two Saturdays before Easter. There will also be a bounce house, a fire engine and an a chance to have your kids' pictures taken with the Easter bunny. This Easter event is absolutely free. Easter Egg Hunt at the Dallas Arboretum

The Dallas Arboretum holds an annual Easter egg hunt for its members on the two Saturdays before Easter. The Easter egg hunt will take place in the lovely Jonsson Color Garden at 8:30 am on both dates. If you arrive early, you can enjoy a continental breakfast in Rosine Hall at 8:00 am. This Easter egg hunt is appropriate for younger children, who will be divided into two groups. One group will be made up of children between the ages of 2 and 5, and the other group between 6 and 9. Easter baskets will not be provided, so bring your own. You must be a Dallas Arboretum member to attend this Easter event. Membership provides one full year of free admission to the Arboretum. You can purchase tickets for this Easter event online, by telephone or by mail.

Easter Egg Hunt in Bedford

The Easter Egg Celebration in Bedford, Texas takes place each year two Saturdays before Easter. This Easter egg hunt, held in the Bedford Boys Ranch Pavilion, is intended for children aged 10 and under. In addition to the Easter egg hunt, there will also be arts and crafts projects, a snack and an opportunity to have your child's picture taken with the Easter Bunny. The Easter celebration begins at 10:00 am and the egg hunt begins at 10:20. You must pre-register to attend this event. You can call (817) 952-2323 or visit the City of Bedford website for more information.

Easter Egg Hunt at the Fort Worth Stockyards

The Fort Worth Stockyards holds its Texas Size Egg Hunt yearly on the Saturday before Easter. The hunt begins at noon on the lawn of the Historic Livestock Exchange Building and Stockyards Visitor Center. This Easter egg hunt is for children aged 12 and younger. You can have your child's picture taken with the Easter bunny at 2:00 pm. Live rabbits and chicks will appear at 3:00 pm. The Fort Worth Stockyards Easter egg hunt is free to the general public.
