Poetry: Nothing vs. something

by Stefani Christenot

Created on: March 13, 2009

Are we nothing but dust?

Or are we something among the clouds?

How does God see us, as something

Or someone he can use.

Are we nothing but leaves that float in the air?

Or are we the rain that comes from those clouds?

Are we that person that God sees

As someone standing here,

ready to be seen.
