After 50 years of dictatorship in the caribbean island, it is very evident that the dominant regime of Castro, will prevail even after he is no longer alive. An ideology that painted the only utopian island in the world back when my grandfather was my age. Many people believed him and had their hopes for a better quality of life, where people would be free and have a pleasant livelihood. Not knowing what was in store for them, not understanding because they were promised the world, and they liked it. Until now, many around the world praise Castro as if he was an emperor.
Why are some ideologies so pigheaded? Pardon my robust remarks on Castro's ways of rule, but it is unfair for many, to live under a regulation that violates so many civil rights for a human being. It is a shame to have a country so pristine because of somebody's poisoned reforms being unhuman and at the same time, praised by his closest accomplices. For many years, this type of alarming and shameful situation prevailed in the touristic island. Now, Castro, in his very senile stage, has transfered his power to his brother Raul Castro.
Even though Fidel still has the final say in matters like the Supreme Court, he is not seen in public anymore. Raul handles all the governmental and diplomatic matter from now on, and yes, with the same inimical way of thinking. It seems to me that the Cuban population has adapted to this appalling way of living. Many of them want to succeed and live a lucrative life, but cant because somebody says they cant. Am I the only one that finds this, a one big paradox? Something ambiguous that is screaming for retribution. An island in slow but conspicuous peril.
Even though it is said by many that their government is a successful and an advocate of altruism; for the many with that criteria, I feel sorry for the irreversible brainwash they were given. Yes, everyone is entitled to their own opinion; but it is the people, who believe that many should suffer, for a few to prosper, the ones that have the wrong political spectrum. Everyone is entitled to freedom, covering every aspect of the word. Everyone is entitled to succeed, do what they please, or nothing if they preffer.
As we look back in history, I feel that Cuba can be free, only the same way the Soviet Union was dissolved. As ministers got appointed, the more reform there was, and in the end, the will to live free, overpowered the souls of many Soviets and the Union was no longer strong enough to withstand. One of the
