I dream one day we will have a world

that's fair to all who dwell here

where children won't be starving

while celebrities make millions a year

I dream one day we will have a world

where we are not judged by our looks

where bully's don't cast out upon those

who need glasses to read their books

I dream one day we will have a world

where material things mean little

so we can spend our time on important things

like our children while they are little

I dream one day we will have a world

which is not superseded by our wealth

so we can concentrate on finding cures

to the ailments of our health

I dream one day we will have a world

full of laughter, love and peace

where compromise is fluent

where fame and power mean the least

I dream one day we will have a world

where our children are safe to play

I wish this dream were reality

it could be................one day
