NFL player profiles: Randy White

Randy White was born in Pittsburg Pennsylvania in 1953. Randy White went to University of Maryland. Randy played full back in Maryland from 1971 to 1974. Randy White was second over-all pick in the first round draft in the 1975 N.F.L. draft. Randy White has numerous awards and honors during his college and pro careers. In 1974, Randy White was named the A.C.C. player of the Year. In 1974, Randy White won the Outland Trophy. Randy White won the Lombardi Trophy in 1974. In 1975, Randy White won the Most Valuable Player in the Liberty Bowl.

When Randy White was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys, they moved Randy to middle linebacker. Randy White adapted the role quite well. During his 14 year career with the Dallas Cowboys, he played in three super bowls and six N.F.C Championships. During his 14 year career with the Dallas Cowboys, he was a 9 time pro-bowler. Randy was also a 7 time Associated Press first team All-Pro. Randy was also a second team All-Pro by the Associated Press. Randy White help his team to win the Super Bowl once in Super Bowl XII.

In Randy's career, he has 1,104 tackles, 111 sacks, one interception. In 1994, Randy White was inducted into the N.F.L. Hall of Fame and the N.C.A.A. Hall of Fame. Randy White was fun to watch. Randy White was one of the hardest hitting players to play middle line backer. There is no other player that could hit as hard as Randy White. Randy White knocked out a lot of players out of the game. There is no player today that could do what Randy White did. Randy White made the Dallas Defense Stronger and faster during his career. In every game you know that Randy will make the tackle or be on the tackle. There was no hiding from Randy White. I remember when Randy Was playing I would see the running backs looking for number 54, they would try to run away from Randy, Randy would be there for the stop.

In 1994, Randy White went into politics. In 1997, Randy was re-elected for the riding of Langley-Abbotsford, and became a Canadian Alliances MP in 2000, when reform was joined by dissident members of the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada. In 2006, Randy White left politics. Randy now helps with a drug prevention networks of Canada.

Randy White is doing a lot for his community of Canada and in Dallas. Randy is a great person on and off the field. During his time in the N.F.L. he did a lot for the United Way program.
