Not My Jesus!
I recently spoke at a school to a class of emotionally disturbed students. When the teacher said E.D. the students were very hurt and went off. They were cussing and being completely unruly. I understand exactly where they are coming from and the students them selves said I looked like I was off the block, which means I'm hood, ghetto, and street wise. Regular clothes make me look like I'm from the block. When I see children like that I know two things that are true and that is they just need a lot of love and they need positive men role models. The class had three teachers and all of them were females. But the class only had one female student. The situation was sad but I got their attention by singing a few of my positive rap songs, which they greatly enjoyed.
The sad part about this whole ordeal was not the students but what one of the teachers said. This lady GOD bless her soul goes to the same church that my friend attends because I saw her Friday when I visited there. Because I am a preacher I know what questions to ask to figure out the doctrine that's coming across the pulpit. This church preaches condemnation and it's possible to lose one's salvation. In other words they preach holiness through human efforts and almost for every little thing you can be condemned to hell. This lady I also noticed was the roughest on the students. She stood up and said ya'll remember what I told you about my son who was 17 years old who got into an argument with me and went outside and got murdered. This lady then proceeded to say and I quote "I told all the young people at his funeral that he went to hell."
For the rest of the day I could not stop thinking about what this lady had told these students, and according to the students this was not the first time that the story was told. You talk about getting emotional, I was greatly disturbed. I felt angry towards her pastor and that fake gospel he be preaching. I wanted to go back up to the school and confront that lady with the truth that the bible says in 1Corinthians 7:14 "For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy". See it's clear from the scriptures that her son is in heaven not because he believed or didn't believe but because his mother is a believer and her believing makes her son clean and holy.
If an argument with my mother is justification enough to go to hell then I don't
