The steps for running a Runescape clan

The achievement of making a huge runescape clan is no easy feat. But if you get it accomplished, no doubt you will feel like a runescape king. The whole basics to making a clan is the enjoyment of it. Yes, gathering members is a pain, but in the end, you will find people with interests just like you in your clan, making whatever you are doing a lot more enjoyable. Perhaps you want to start a clan for revenant hunting? Or a cooking clan, where you exchange items from fishers to cookers? OR even a huge pking clan feared on PVP worlds? You can create a clan through the use of the clan interface in the right corner of the screen. These are the simple yet challenging steps that you need to follow to make a great, smooth running clan.

First step: The first step obviously is to think of what your clan will be doing. Perhaps if you are making a runecrafting clan, recruiting people in the wilderness may not be the best choice. There should also be a catchy yet short name or slogan for your clan. This is the main part of your clan which draws the members in.

Second step: You want to restrict the things done in the clan chat interface. Perhaps letting everyone have the ability to kick eachother would not be wise. What works out is that while you are recruiting, you make the first few members in your clan the ones who get a higher rank. If it is a pk clan, you want to rank the strong and the noble. Also, making it easy to chat in your clan may be wise.

Third step: Once you have a few people in your clan, you want to make sure that everyone seems interested in the clans purpose. When pking or revenant hunting, you want to make sure most of the people are on the same world, and have a "base" for when some get lost. You also want to make sure that when participating in PVP games with a clan, to have some way of noticing eachother from enemies, like wearing the same cape or adding everybody.

Fourth step: It's important to know that even though you are the leader of the whole clan, you shouldn't treat the others badly. This is a HUGE mistake because then people will just decide to leave if you are not nice to them. They should be organized, with food for pk missions, rune essence for runecrafting and so forth. Make it so that your members get something out of joining the clan other than making friends.

Fifth step: If you want your clan to be a true successful clan, you want to have others 2nd in charge or 3rd in charge, because you aren't going to be playing runescape ALL THE TIME, so they can take over when you are not there. This is something that many clans lack, because once the clan master logs out, the others will be like "Where is our leader?" And just get angry and leave. Make sure that the people in the clan know that there is another leader.

Now that you know a little about how to run your own clan, why not instead of being just "another" person in someone else's clan, stand up and start your own. Who knows! With these steps you might just start a great successful clan!
