A wireless network is the latest thing in the computer network technology. IT's super fast, it has up to 100 meter of range plus you can have unlimited computers connected to it.
One problem is always standing there: How safe is that network? Can anyone access and enter on it? Can anyone see your files? Can anyone use your internet ISP connection and download ilegal files to acuse you and to make you pay a huge bill if they use all your bandwidth?
This article will answer all your questions. Starting with the basic security. If you do not protect your network with a password, everyone that comes near to you will have their laptop automatically connecting to your wireless network, whether they like it or not. It's not up to you nor up to them. It's up to the computers only. They can use your internet for sure, they can use P2P programs to send and receive ilegal files, they can download adult movies and thousands of GB and make you pay a huge bill, plus they can also make your files available to them if you are sharing that files over the network.
To avoid this problem you need to add a great password to the network. The ideal password will be one with millions of characters and only the copy and paste computer windows feature would make possible to enter such password. This kind of password is always unbreakable, not even all the processing power on the planet would be enough to blast this combinations, so your network would always be 100% safe unless someone got your password. This is very easy to do with a tool called password generator. Most programs never allow you to generate a password bigger than 32 or 64 characters, sometimes up to 512 but that seems to be the limit. If you go to Google and type javascript password generator you can get a password with 100000 characters easily and you can press the button as many times as you like. THis will give you 100% protection.
To add something to that you should hide your network. This will make your network invisible and only those who know the ip and the address of it will ever be able to access it. This will add some more security to it since the hackers cannot try to break the password because they do not know your network exists. Only scanners can try all thr ips and spectrums to see if there are waves out there. Soon or later they will find out but until that you are with peace of mind. Then they have the monster password.
